Location: Deeside

Package: 47,000 - 55,000 per annum DOE

Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3.30pm / Friday 7am - 12.30pm (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

4Sure Recruitment is proud to be supporting a renowned European engineering business in their search for a Fabrication Supervisor to join their dynamic team based in Deeside.
This role will see you supporting the Engineering and Production Managers to deliver key engineering projects on time and within budget -- all while ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld to the highest degree.
As the Fabrication Supervisor, you'll lead a team of 10+ and play a crucial part in driving performance, process improvement, and HSEQ compliance across the fabrication shop.

Key Responsibilities - Fabrication Supervisor:

Day-to-day supervision of fabrication operations, ensuring all activities are delivered to schedule and standard. Collaborate closely with HSE, Quality, and Engineering teams. Manage and motivate a team of shop floor personnel. Maintain clear understanding of build sequences and project priorities. Conduct first-line disciplinary actions when necessary. Implement improvements in workflow and Total Quality Management. Ensure full compliance with company health & safety and environmental policies. Issue work packs and job orders; conduct dimensional inspections. Offer proactive solutions and process improvement suggestions.

What We're Looking For - Fabrication Supervisor:

Essential:

Strong background in steelwork and pipework fabrication. Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings. Experience issuing job orders and work packs. Understanding of material take-offs and fabrication processes. Supervisory or team-leading experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Hands-on knowledge of quality-first manufacturing.
Desirable:

Familiarity with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Knowledge of plasma cutting and welding operations. Basic understanding of dimensional inspection techniques.
