We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw materials into precise, high-quality components and assemblies using a variety of fabrication techniques. Your expertise will ensure that all projects meet rigorous safety standards, adhere to technical specifications, and are completed efficiently. Duties

Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements. Operate a wide range of hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and machining equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas), Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure accuracy during fabrication processes. Handle sheet metal fabrication including cutting, bending, forming, and assembling ductwork or other sheet metal structures. Conduct pipe threading and assembly for plumbing or mechanical systems following schematics and technical specifications. Operate forklifts and rigging equipment safely for material handling and assembly tasks on-site or in the workshop. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication or assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace by properly using hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Follow all safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging, and construction site practices to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members on project timelines and quality standards to meet production goals efficiently. Assist in the assembly of fabricated parts into larger systems or structures as required by project specifications. Support manufacturing processes by utilizing schematics, technical drawings, and basic math skills for precise fabrication tasks.

Skills

Proven construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures and site protocols. Expertise in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; familiarity with welding preferred. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication including ductwork production and assembly. Experience with pipe threading and mechanical assembly in accordance with engineering specifications. Familiarity with rigging operations using cranes or other lifting equipment for heavy material handling. Mechanical aptitude combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. Ability to operate forklifts safely within a manufacturing or construction environment. Understanding of ASME codes & standards relevant to welding and fabrication practices. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
