Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.
Fabricate metal structures and components using cutting, bending, and welding techniques.
Perform MIG welding on various metals including steel, stainless steel.
Operate fabrication machinery such as grinders, saws, shears, and presses.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve fabrication issues.
Skills
Proven experience as a fabricator welder or similar role.
Solid understanding of various welding techniques.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Familiarity with power tools such as grinders, saws, and drills as well as hand tools like hammers and wrenches.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Good physical condition and stamina.
