Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components to assemble structural steel along with a mixture of component parts. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in MIG welding. Ideally we are looking for an all round person who has hands on experience, we cover a large range of work therefore plenty of variety is available. Experience in the erection and sheeting of Sheds would be advantageous

Duties:
- Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques
- Fabricate steel components according to Drawings and specifications
- Use power tools and hand tools
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in steel fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience working with sheet metal is a plus

Working Hours

Monday-Thursday 7am-4:30pm

Friday 7am-1:30pm

We offer competitive pay based on experience. We offer a great variety of work with new modern work facilities with plenty of overtime available if required. Role can be solely workshop based or if preferred and mixture of onsite work can be given. Hands on knowledge of fabrication of a range of products. Common sense and problem solving is desirable. experience in the use of 3d solid works would be advantageous as we can offer some work in this area. The desired Candidate must be able to pass a weld test.
