We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our manufacturing team.
DUTIES
Assembly
1. To assemble and pack products as instructed by Supervisor/Director of Operations.
Store
2. To organise the movement of stock as instructed by Supervisor/Director of Operations
Metal Work/Fabrication

3. Metal working duties including cutting by operating the guillotine, folding by use of the CNC press-brake; notching and punching components; MIG welding; grinding; assembly and fitting.
Production - General
4. To use equipment and carry out production procedures in accordance with company policy and quality standards.
5. Maintain a good work rate as well as high quality.
6. To inspect product according to established standards and procedures.
7. Report any concerns about product defects or workshop machinery.
8. Ensure work area is kept safe and tidy.
9. Keep accurate production records as required.
10. To be responsible for driving vehicles - ie lifting equipment*; company van - as authorised by the Director of Operations.
11. Responsible for adhering to company Health and Safety procedures and have a day-to-day awareness and reporting of Health & Safety issues within the workplace.
12. Responsible for following and contributing to all IMS procedures relevant to the department.
13. Driving Company van (long wheelbase transit) for local collections and deliveries as required.
14. Other duties as required by the Director of Operations
