Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team at C H Middleton Ltd. This role involves fabricating and welding components for our waste management operations, contributing to our commitment to providing bespoke zero waste to landfill solutions. The position is based in Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld metal components according to specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble parts efficiently. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including stick welding. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Familiarity with sheet metal work and fabrication processes. Mechanical knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
