Our client is urgently looking for a Services Assistant on a full-time, ongoing, temp-to-perm basis

Immediate start available. Interview will be on Microsoft Teams

Hours of work are 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday, with an hour unpaid lunch break

Rate of pay is \xc2\xa314.42 per hour

Job Purpose

Supporting the Head of Services at a leading media corporation at their prestigious head offices in central London.

Working as part of a Services team in a modern business facility, supporting a dynamic commercial and editorial team of colleagues.

To monitor and co-ordinate the buildings facilities enquiries. Liaising with internal and external partners in achieving task resolution within the agreed timescales, whilst ensuring a high-quality service provision for all tasks within agreed KPI and SLA\xe2\x80\x99s

Key Responsibilities

  • \xc2\xb7 Provide a high level of customer service, delivering to service levels, goals & objectives
  • o This includes providing support across the business, including day-to-day facilities arrangements and operations essential to the running of the building
  • \xc2\xb7 Provides support for accounting tasks - e.g. internal cross charges, coding invoices, raising P.O. etc
  • \xc2\xb7 Proactive management of and responding to enquiries (via emails and phone calls), handling problems and issues.
  • \xc2\xb7 Keeping stock of supplies and placing orders when necessary.
  • \xc2\xb7 Submitting timely reports and preparing presentations/proposals as assigned.
  • \xc2\xb7 Assisting in setting up new client accounts, supporting the car fleet and ensuring all records are up to date.
  • \xc2\xb7 Producing security passes, both scheduled and ad hoc.
  • \xc2\xb7 Keeping the Services handbook and knowledge base up to date at all times.
  • \xc2\xb7 Helping to support internal and external events.
  • \xc2\xb7 Events and Hospitality - order catering, book catering staff, security.
  • \xc2\xb7 Providing additional support where required for ad-hoc requests and meetings.
  • \xc2\xb7 Performs additional duties as and when required.
Essential skills
  • \xc2\xb7 Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • \xc2\xb7 Good interpersonal skills
  • \xc2\xb7 Shows a desire to be challenged and to develop new skills
  • \xc2\xb7 Intermediate / Advanced level in G Suite or Microsoft Office suite
  • \xc2\xb7 A strong customer service approach with a demonstrated commitment to exceed customer expectations.
  • \xc2\xb7 Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
  • \xc2\xb7 Experience in similar administrative roles
  • \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
