An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person to join our Facilities Management Team at Hampshire County Council.
The Role:

What you'll do:

• Assist with enquires from staff, visitors and contractors
• Carry out Health and Safety checks in the building
• Sort post and deliveries
• Assist in completing statutory checks in our buildings and accurately recording that information
• Respond to telephone calls in a professional manner

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a polite, friendly and flexible individual to join our established Facilities Management team, who have the responsibility for welcoming both staff and members of the public. Being part of a professional team, you will deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
In your role you will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be flexible and adaptable in work style and supportive to your colleagues and peers- have tact. Supporting and communicating in various scenarios, you will tailor your approach accordingly whilst also displaying good IT skills. The role can be demanding in peak periods, with flexible working necessary to support other Facilities Management Teams as and when required.
Due to the duties involved in this role you will need to be able to fulfil the moving/handling requirements as detailed in the Candidate Pack, however training will be provided to assist this as well as First Aid.
The working week is 22.2 hours per week- 08.30- 17.00 Monday to Thursday, and 08.30- 16.30 on Friday (days to be agreed).
