Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Facilities Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this multifaceted role, you will support the day-to-day operations of our office and ensure that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities will include conducting regular inspections and basic maintenance of the premises, coordinating with external contractors for repairs, managing inventory of supplies and equipment, and assisting with office moves and setting up workspaces. You will also be responsible for ensuring meeting rooms are clean and well-equipped, supporting health and safety checks, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and assisting with waste management and recycling initiatives.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Previous experience in facilities management or a similar support role is preferred, but not essential. You should have strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Basic IT skills and the ability to use standard office equipment are required. Flexibility to assist with occasional evening or weekend work, as well as the physical ability to lift and move light equipment or furniture, is essential.
