An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated person to join our Facilities Management Team at Hampshire County Council.

The Role:
Team work is an essential part of the role, enabling the team to be robust in providing an excellent standard of customer service.
What you'll do:

• Assist with enquires from staff, visitors and contractors.
• Carry out Health and Safety checks in the building.
• Sort Post and deliveries.
• Assist in completing statutory checks in our buildings and accurately recording that information.
• Respond to telephone calls in a professional manner.

What we're looking for:
We are looking for a polite, friendly and flexible individual to join our established FM team, who have the responsibility for welcoming both staff and members of the public. Being part of a professional team, you will deliver excellent customer service to staff and visitors.
In your role you will demonstrate good interpersonal skills, be adaptable and flexible in work style, be flexible and adaptable in work style and supportive to your colleagues and peers- have tact. To be able to support and communicate in various scenarios, tailoring your approach accordingly. You will also have good IT skills. The role can be demanding in peak periods. With flexible working necessary to support other Facilities Management Teams as and when required.
Due to the duties involved in this role you will need to be able to fulfil the moving/ handling requirements as detailed in the job description and person specification. The working week is 22.20 hrs 0830- 1700 Monday to Thursday, and 0830- 1630 on Friday. Days to be agreed.
Training will be provided to assist you in this role including First Aid and Manual Handling.
