Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a part-time Facilities Assistant (cleaner) to join our team at The Hellingly Centre, The Drive, Hellingly, East Sussex, BN27 4ER.
This is a part-time position totalling 15 hours per week, working 7.5 hours per day on each Monday & Tuesday afternoon.
If you are approachable, flexible, able to work unsupervised and are reliable and if you want to make a positive difference to the experience of people in our care then this could be the perfect role for you.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can work equally well on their own or as part of a team, to deliver and achieve high standards ofenvironmental cleaning and prepare meals for service.
We need people who recognise the importance of a clean environment and food safety as well as the importance of adherence to infectionprevention and control standards at all times.
To protect the health and safety of our staff/workers, patients, and those attending our sites, we encourage our workforce to be fully vaccinatedagainst COVID-19.

Duties include but are not limited to: - vacuum cleaning, damp mopping of floors, damp dusting of furniture/fittings, cleaning of mirrors and internalglass, sanitary ware, e.g. baths, showers, sinks, toilets, washing of tiled surfaces and paintwork, high dusting of walls and ceilings, floor cleaningetc..
