Our Facilities team, based in Lewes, plays a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation. As a key part of our infrastructure, the team ensures a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for both employees and clients.
The Opportunity: Facilities Assistant We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Facilities Assistant to join our dedicated team in Lewes. If you are passionate about providing outstanding support, building strong employee relationships, and thriving in a collaborative environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Role Will Involve:
Opening and scanning incoming post, photocopying, filing, and investigating unidentified mail
Coordinating the archiving process efficiently
Managing and processing deed requests
Conducting weekly fire alarm tests and supporting general health and safety checks
Overseeing printer functionality, including arranging engineer callouts as necessary
Assisting in the planning and delivery of company-wide social events
Unlocking and preparing the buildings in the absence of the Facilities Manager
Providing Reception cover as needed, including welcoming clients and preparing refreshments

Adaptability and strong attention to detail, especially when working to tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high levels of accuracy
A proactive, approachable, and flexible attitude, always ready to support the team
A resilient, solutions-oriented mind-set, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Previous reception experience is desirable, though not essential

The Salary: This position offers a salary of 18,400 per year, for 28 hours per week.
The role is set Monday to Friday, excluding Wednesdays, with flexibility required to cover team absences when needed.
