We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our premises. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities to ensure the smooth functioning of our facilities. Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities across the facility, ensuring all equipment and infrastructure are functioning optimally
Support with deliveries in our Donation Hub
Oversee project management tasks related to facility upgrades, repairs, and improvements
Manage schedules for routine inspections, servicing, and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems
Supervise a team maintenance and caretaker, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high standards of work
Maintain accurate schematics, technical documentation, and records related to facility systems
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits
Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments to coordinate maintenance activities
Monitor the performance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems within the facility
Assist in troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues using schematics and technical knowledge
Skills
Proven management and supervisory experience in a facilities or maintenance environment
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Technical competence in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical maintenance
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and supervise contractors effectively
Mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in maintenance tasks
Proficiency in reading technical schematics and electrical diagrams
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and documentation
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, for clear communication across teams and stakeholders
