: Travelling between our Care Homes in Bristol & Bath

Salary:

From 14.50 - 15.50/hour depending on Qualifications & Experience

Full UK Driving License and car essential, as travel between the homes is a requirement of the position.

Travelling between our Care Homes in Bristol & Bath. Train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks. Oversee staff on a daily basis. Audit cleanliness of the homes by checking the quality of cleaning in rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas. Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, hygiene standards and green energy saving measures. Motivate team members and resolve any issues that occur on the job. Carry out regular servicing and testing of equipment as required by government legislation. Monitor and replenish cleaning product stock including floor cleaner, bleach and rubber gloves etc. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:



Ability to conduct and review risk assessments, implement control measure and in maintaining safety logs and records. Sound understanding of infection prevention and control (IPC) & CQC Fundamental Standards in care setting. Strong work knowledge of COSHH, RIDDOR, Fire & Safety Procedures, Manual handling Regulations & Health and Safety at Work. Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products. Excellent communication, organizational and team management skills. Ability to make decisions and prioritize workload. Experience working as a housekeeper/cleaning supervisor or similar role. IT & Computer literate.
