CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Facilities Coordinator to be based on our site in Dagenham.
About the Role:
As a CBRE Facilities Coordinator, you will work with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure that facility tasks and work orders are complete. The role is based in our client's production plant (DEP/DDC) and will be a primary contact for Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operations.
The role interfaces closely with wider Dagenham and UK operations, forming part of the CBRE Ford Land account delivery team providing services to our client, globally.
The Ford Dagenham site manufactures diesel engines and machined components for the global market, predominantly for commercial vehicle products such as the popular Ford Transit Van and Ford Ranger. Currently (2025) it produces over 2,100 engines per day, equaling 480,000 per year. To date, the plant has produced and shipped over 49 million engines worldwide.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.
What You'll Do:
Acknowledge all client inquiries and schedule repairs and work orders as required.
Generate and investigate work order reports to find out performance and progress status, including liaison with vendor partners and providing communication to client stakeholders.
Maintain accurate work orders, proposals, department files, and other paperwork submitted by vendors.
Proactively checking and audits of facilities standards. Join clients and vendors as required on their planned inspections.
Support in the generation of quotations and management of extra works requests.
Sourcing and receipting of goods and materials.
Support in the delivery of planned maintenance schedules.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
Attend client meetings and take ownership of CBRE action management.
Ensure CBRE and client QHSE requirements are met through instruction, monitoring and reporting.
Have awareness of relevant contractual and KPI requirements, and overall account objectives, and consider opportunities to de-risk and improve in support of these.
What You'll Need:
Proven experience working in facilities management or similar building services environment.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
Desirable to have experience working within a manufacturing, production or logistics field.
Desirable to have broad understanding of HVAC systems within buildings or manufacturing settings.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups
Desire to positively impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Although not essential, a drvier's license is desirable due to scale of client's site and proximity to public transport.
