In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. Key duties include managing building maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and servicing with external contractors, and overseeing security, cleaning, and waste management services. You will also be tasked with conducting regular inspections, maintaining accurate records and compliance documentation, and ensuring health and safety standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a facilities or office management role, with a strong understanding of building systems and maintenance requirements. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting are essential. You should be a clear communicator, able to liaise confidently with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. Proficiency in using facilities management software and Microsoft Office is required. A relevant qualification in facilities management or a related field is desirable, but not essential. Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to challenges will ensure your success in this vital role.
