Facilities Electrical Technician

to join our team in

Barnsley

. You'll deliver a multi-skilled service performing a wide range of tasks to legislative, company, site and exacting standards. You'll be covering a wide scope of duties including facilities maintenance, electrical installation, repairs, test/inspections, and support the on-site Dematic team across a range of disciplines.

This is a full time, permanent position, working

any 5 out of 7 days

, on

rotating shifts 06:00 till 14:30, 08:00 till 16:30 and 10:30 till 19:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to

33,779.20

per annum and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

Undergo electrical installation, testing, distribution, fault finding and repairs to 2391 Standards Management of electrical documentation and change control Ensure all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on plant and buildings are carried out efficiently and effectively Oversee Contractors working onsite, ensuring Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) are in place and to issue work permits Ensure all tasks carried out adhere to all relevant compliances with current legislation, Policies & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience within facilities or maintenance is essential Industrial or Commercial Electrical Installation experience is required Electrical/ Mechanical Qualification Level 3 (or equivalent) Level 2 Diploma in Engineering, City & Guilds 18th Edition Wiring IOSH Managing Safely
