Job Description

The Role:



The Facilities Engineer is responsible for carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of machinery and site maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in the execution of planned maintenance activities for factory machinery, building infrastructure, and grounds.

Ensure strict adherence to all Health & Safety regulations and company safety protocols.

Maintain and update maintenance records and documentation to ensure all work is accurately tracked and compliant.

Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems within the facility.

Coordinate with external contractors to schedule inspections, certifications, and compliance-related services.

Apply structured problem-solving techniques to identify root causes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform routine plant checks and record equipment readings; carry out electrical and mechanical tasks safely and efficiently.

Monitor production lines continuously to identify performance issues and propose improvement opportunities.

Conduct regular machine inspections; perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and necessary upgrades to minimize downtime.

Provide support during equipment breakdowns by assisting with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (with appropriate training).

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in workshops, plant rooms, and storage areas

Knowledge, skills and experience



Degree or formal qualification in a relevant engineering field Experienced Engineer with several years experience in a manufacturing environment Driving licence Knowledge of HSE regulations legislation

Schedule:



Monday to Friday 37 hours per week.
