Join our team at the Thackray Museum of Medicine and help keep our building and grounds in great condition all year round. This is an entry-level role, with full training provided -- ideal for someone starting their career in facilities, estates or maintenance, and who wants to be part of a cultural environment.

We're looking for someone from our local community (within 3 miles of the Museum), and we particularly welcome applicants from Harehills, Gipton, Burmantofts, and Chapeltown.

Responsibilities include

Supporting the upkeep of our building and grounds through maintenance and repair tasks Assisting with exhibitions, displays and installations Helping to set up and take down rooms for events and conferences Providing basic IT and audio-visual support for conferencing activities Acting as a keyholder and supporting emergency response when required

Details

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week), 0.8 FTE considered
Salary: 23,750 per annum
Reports to: Estates Manager (primary) and Head of Trading & Commercial Activity (secondary)
Location: Thackray Museum of Medicine, LS9 7LN
