We are seeking a practical, reliable, and proactive

Facilities Handyperson

to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will support the

engineering leadership team

by delivering a consistent and high-quality maintenance service across our

main office

,

administration

, and

site facilities

.

Main Responsibilities:



Working closely with the engineering leadership team to ensure site-wide maintenance is completed safely and efficiently, following all company Environment, Health & Safety guidelines. Conducting basic mechanical repairs and safety inspections across facilities areas. Carrying out janitorial and groundskeeping tasks including: General cleaning and waste collection Gritting of car parks during winter Basic plumbing tasks Furniture moves Supporting general maintenance and upkeep of site facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and operational workplace. Completing any other duties aligned with the scope of the role as required by the leadership team.
This role is a part-time role working 3-4 days per week, flexibility with working hours may also be required.

About You:



To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience in a similar Handyperson or general maintenance role Skilled in a variety of repair, inspection, and upkeep tasks Comfortable with manual handling and ladder use Self-motivated, with the ability to manage your workload and make decisions under your own initiative A valid Full UK driving licence Computer literacy, especially MS Office (advantageous) Strong awareness of HSE and quality requirements in a maintenance or manufacturing environment Clear and confident communicator; able to interact effectively with senior management and engineering teams

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.98 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
