Our client is seeking a Facilities Handyperson. The role is offered as a temporary position that may become permanent for a candidate with the right experience and work ethic.
Rate: from 13.84 ph - weeks 1 - 12
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm
Paid weekly, PAYE via React Recruitment Ltd
No remote working
Location: New Hythe/Larkfield

Facilities Handyperson Our client is seeking a proactive and reliable Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the facilities, supporting operational efficiency and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.
Facilities Handyperson key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness across non-office areas, including walkways, platforms, and walls.
• Manage waste disposal, ensuring correct segregation and recycling.
• Operate and maintain cleaning and site equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to spillages and conduct deep cleans as required.
• Perform general maintenance around the site, including hedge trimming, painting, and small construction projects (carpentry, painting and decorating).
• Support building improvement projects under supervision.
• Promote and adhere to all health and safety procedures.

Facilities Handyperson skills and experience

• Experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role (manufacturing or production environment preferred).
• Training will be provided for the right candidate with relevant skills
• A hands-on, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
