Job Description
A well-established city centre hotel is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Assistant to join its facilities team.
The role involves carrying out a wide range of general maintenance duties including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, joinery, and day-to-day repairs. The successful candidate will respond to guest maintenance requests, complete routine inspections, and assist with preventative maintenance programmes to ensure the hotel is maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- General building and hotel maintenance
- Responding promptly to maintenance and repair requests
- Carrying out inspections and reporting faults
- Supporting preventative maintenance schedules
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
- Good practical knowledge of building maintenance
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, flexible, and team-focused approach
