Here at GXO Logistics, we're looking for a Facilities & Maintenance Manager to join our team at Wellingborough, supporting our newly acquired B&Q Bathroom Fulfilment Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage all site services, from building and grounds maintenance to security, utilities and compliance, while driving efficiency and supporting a safe working environment.
This is a full-time, permanent position. You'll be working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. However, some flexibility will be required, as this is logistics, after all!

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Manage all site services including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities and space planning
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental and health & safety regulations
• Oversee contractor control, permits to work and emergency procedures
• Project manage refurbishments, renovations and office moves
• Maintain records for inspections, tests and repairs to meet compliance standards
• Control departmental budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
• Chair site meetings and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience in a facilities/maintenance management role
• Technical knowledge of hard and soft building services
• Strong understanding of QSHE and security practices
• Experience managing third-party contracts and KPIs
• RQF Level 3, IWFM Certificate and IOSH Managing Safely (essential)
• 18th Edition Wiring and foundation degree in engineering (advantageous)
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage budgets and deliver operational improvements
