Due to company growth we have a vacancy for a Helpdesk Operative at our head office based at Nostell Priory Business Estate.

You will be joining a team supporting the company's operational delivery of Facilities Management services across our expanding client base, the successful candidate will be supported to develop within the company and form part of a succession plan built around internal promotions and opportunities as the company grows.

Purpose of Role

:

The successful candidate will proactively handle a mixture of calls from a variety of stakeholders including:

Fault reporting - Receive request and then allocate this according to service level agreements and contractors.

Customer updates - Build client rapport and aim to proactively keep the customer updated with progress reports.

Other duties will be:

Administration support - Work with the FM team to help provide the relevant support on the production of information including quotes, letters and general assistance.

Build knowledge on buildings - Work with the facilities managers to build a good understanding of the buildings, tenants and clients for the buildings/area allocated to this role.

Contractor Management - Liaise with our national network of suppliers to ensure that a proactive delivery of service is achieved.

Update our document management system - Work with the contractors and the facilities managers to maintain our information portal.

Providing a 1st line level of support to the internal accounts team

Skills Requirement



Excellent verbal customer service skills as this will form the basis of the role.

Good IT skills are essential for the role as the majority of works are managed through a Computer Aided Facilities Management program.

Knowledge of standard computer packages including word, excel and outlook.

Excellent time keeping and a flexible attitude to a rolling shift pattern between 08:00 and 18:00 are essential.

Additional Duties



Other daily task includes general office duties such as filing, opening the post, managing stationary levels and the booking of hotels, trains and flights for other Velway employees.
