Facilities Manager
who can keep our buildings, vehicles, and services running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is all about making things work efficiently and safely. From managing van contracts and energy suppliers, to keeping buildings compliant and up to standard - you'll be the go-to person across the business.
What the role looks like
Keeping on top of building maintenance, leases, security, and cleaning.
Making sure we're getting the best value on non-stock services - think vehicle leasing, utilities, waste management, and everything in between.
Managing service providers, contracts, and renewals - holding suppliers to account.
Overseeing our van fleet - maintenance, insurance, MOTs, fuel usage, the works.
Leading the charge on health and safety - writing policies, carrying out risk assessments, and making sure we meet all legal requirements.
Delivering or arranging H&S training and investigations when needed.
Working closely with teams across the business to make sure everything works for them, too.
What we're looking for
You'll be someone who's great at spinning plates, comfortable managing suppliers, and knows how to get things done - without cutting corners.
A background in facilities or procurement - ideally both.
Experience managing service contracts and budgets.
Solid knowledge of health & safety law - and the confidence to put it into practice.
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
A practical, problem-solving mindset - you like to fix things and keep them running.
Good with numbers, people, and planning.
A relevant qualification (IWFM, CIPS, etc.) is a bonus.
You'll also need:
A full UK driving licence (if travel between sites is needed).
To be happy being on call for occasional building or H&S emergencies.
