Job Title: Facilities Manager
Salary: circa 60,000 depending on experience plus BONUS and benefits!!

As the Facilities Manager, you will be at the heart of the firm's operations, overseeing a variety of essential services. From managing leases and maintenance to ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, your contributions will be vital in maintaining a conducive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Building Maintenance - ensure all buildings are safe and operational through regular maintenance and repairs

• Leases - oversee all leases, rent, service charges, and rates.

• Health & Safety - ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and best practises

• File Storage - manage the transition from physical to electronic files while overseeing storage solutions.

• Contract management - maintain relationships with catering and cleaning contractors to ensure high-quality services

• Budget Management - manage facility budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and monitor expenditures.

• Space Management- coordinate office moves and refurbishments to optimise space usage.

• Stakeholder Liaison - communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders regarding facilities issues.

• Energy & Sustainability - plan and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

• Facilities management experience within a law firm is a must have for this role!!!

• Budgeting & Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets effectively.

• Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems and relevant legislation.

• Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to motivate and manage staff and contractors collaboratively.
