The Opportunity & School Profile This prestigious independent girls' school, known for its strong academic record and excellent pastoral provision, seeks a meticulous Facilities Manager. The role involves managing an extensive and often historic campus, ensuring the environment is safe, supportive, and maintained to the highest standard for both academic and residential life. Core Responsibilities & Facilities Scope
Strategic Management: Leading the premises team, overseeing all maintenance (planned and reactive), and managing external contractor relationships.
Estate Management: Responsibility for the maintenance of a complex estate, including academic blocks, specialist sports facilities, and boarding accommodation.
Compliance & Safety: Full accountability for H&S compliance, fire safety, security, and statutory inspections across the entire school property.
Compensation & Benefits
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year).
Salary Range: Highly competitive, commensurate with experience (expected to be 50,000 - 60,000 per annum).
Essential Requirements: Significant managerial experience in facilities management, preferably within a boarding or complex institutional setting.
