Key Responsibilities:



Act as a Business Partner with key stakeholders across the UK and Ireland, advising, supporting and educating our teams Oversee the infrastructure and technical equipment (including electricity, elevators, glass or roller shutter, alarm/fire safety systems, balers, kitchen and stock equipment) across UK stores, ensuring functionality, safety, and compliance Manage utilities setup, administration, and billing coordination, including energy efficiency initiatives Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and legally required servicing Administer third-party supplier accounts and monitor contractor performance (such as G4S Cash Solutions & PHS Washroom Services) Maintain accurate records of maintenance, service agreements, and compliance documentation Support store openings, refurbishments, and capital projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders Ensure health and safety compliance, including RAMS, permit-to-work processes, and COSHH documentation Monitor budgets and support financial planning for maintenance and minor capital works Lead the delivery of hard facilities services, including mechanical, electrical, and building systems Drive continuous improvement and contribute to sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives
Travelling to new and existing stores to be a part of new openings and re-buildings in collaboration with Area Managers and Project Managers.

About you



Proven experience in facilities or maintenance management, ideally across retail multi-site locations Practical, solutions-focused, and confident managing day-to-day issues and repairs Reliable and organised, with the ability to manage multiple sites and tasks effectively Comfortable working hands-on and in a supervisory capacity Strong background in hard services, with solid knowledge of health & safety and statutory compliance Experienced in project management and well-versed in electrical systems and devices Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Proactive, service-minded, and adaptable in fast-paced environments Confident using digital tools and software to support facilities operations
