Job Description


Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Operative working in Catering at Nevill Hall Hospital, Abergavenny.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The post requires the post-holder to be flexible in the performance of their duties, within the Kitchen/Catering service.
This post is 16 per week, to be worked on the following rota:-
Week 1 - 11:30 - 15:30 on a Monday, 17:00 - 21:00 on a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Week 2 - 17:00 - 21:00 on a Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. 11:30 - 15:30 on a Saturday
Week 3 - 17:00 - 21:00 on a Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 11:30 - 15:30 on a Thursday
Week 4 - 17:00 - 21:00 on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Main duties of the job
The duties within each function will be set out in the relevant job schedules. The assignment of these duties will meet the priority needs and demands of the service as identified by the manager/supervisor. The post-holder will therefore be expected to take a flexible approach to their duties, and must also be able to cover rosters.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
