About the role -
The position focuses on delivering a professional, customer-oriented service, supporting various soft facilities functions across the institution. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) -

  • Execute material handling operations, furniture relocation, office transitions, room preparations, and transportation of institutional assets.
  • Perform fundamental maintenance procedures as directed and in accordance with established protocols. Examples include: reactive lighting maintenance, minor furniture and surface repairs, decorating, re-securing sanitary fixtures, and installing sink components; requiring proficiency with standard tools and equipment.
  • Conduct scheduled compliance inspections of facilities, including routine electrical assessments, water quality monitoring, accessible washroom alarm verification, and safety mechanism testing.
Hours of work:
Term-time only: Monday - Friday - Mon - Thurs - 13:15 - 21:00, Fri - 12:15 - 20:00
Please note that operation of institutional vehicles will be required as necessary.
