To support the Regional Operations Manager in all aspects of the cleaning and maintenance of sites designated in both existing and future contracts.
Duties will also include supporting the Technical Services Department by carrying out basic maintenance tasks with a view to gaining experience in all aspects of the functionality of the buildings included in both existing and future contracts.
The successful candidate will have a degree of technical knowledge and at least a basic knowledge of maintenance tasks. They will be able to work under the supervision of existing Technical Services staff as well as work independently when the need arises.
The successful candidate will be able to identify faults and report those faults via established company specific software and will also be involved in the resolution of those faults.
However, the successful candidate will also be expected to work independently in other areas of the business. In doing so they will be expected to, when required to occasionally fulfil a scheduled cleaning shift pattern either whilst working alone or as part of a team.
The aim of this role is to develop a multi-skilled member of the team that can support both areas of the contracted works.

Duties and Responsibilities
To support the Technical Services Department with fault-finding and carrying out basic repairs.
To support the Cleaning Teams as and when required, filling gaps in the agreed schedule due to sickness and annual leave and to ensure that all aspects of the agreed service provision is upheld at all times.
To actively work towards gaining experience and knowledge on all aspects of the functionality of buildings and the different areas of maintenance that are required to meet client needs and the needs of service users.
To ensure that cleaning specifications are implemented and adhered to at all times.
To work safely and to adhere to all aspects of company specific and legislative Health & Safety criteria regardless of the task being carried out.
To follow current processes and to ensure that company procedures are followed at all times.
To ensure that all client expectations are met with regards to agreed SLA's.
To ensure that the company's environmental commitments are respected and adhered to at all times.
Skills and Abilities Required or Preferred
o
Experience in Basic Maintenance including Low Voltage Electrical work.
Experience in the use of Hand Tools.
Experience in aspects of commercial cleaning would also be an advantage.
Used to working with the public and in or around public areas.
Be committed to undergoing ongoing training and development of existing skills to enhance service delivery.
Basic IT skills would be an advantage.
Good understanding of H&S Legislation and Safe Systems of Work.
Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills.
Must possess a full UK Driving Licence.
Ability to work independently and unsupervised and to take responsibility.
