We operate from multiple renowned venues across the UK, with our flagship headquarters and facilities based at Dunsfold Park - the legendary home of the former Top Gear test track.

We are in an exciting period of growth and investment currently, making this the perfect time to join us in a pivotal operational role. We are now recruiting for an experienced and hands-on Facilities Manager to oversee all aspects of site maintenance, health and safety, and facilities operations at our state-of-the-art Dunsfold facility.

The Role



As Facilities/Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the site, overseeing all maintenance projects, H&S compliance, and facilities upkeep including current in-progress refurbishment of the site. You'll develop and manage a small in-house team over time, plus have decent contact book of external contractors, ensuring that the site and projects operates safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities



Manage daily site operations, including reactive and planned maintenance works. Oversee projects from planning through to completion within agreed timelines budgets. Carry out regular site walkarounds to identify and resolve maintenance issues. Monitor team performance, resource allocation, and productivity on-site. Ensure all health and safety standards are met. Conducting risk assessments and regular inspections. Maintain accurate records - materials, equipment servicing, maintenance logs. Coordinate sourcing and purchasing of tools, equipment, and consumables Supervise external contractors, ensuring high performance standards. Control site waste management in line with company environmental policies. Manage stock levels of consumables and maintenance supplies. Contribute to monthly site performance reports and improvement plans. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders. Champion high standards of site presentation at all times. Lead and mentor a growing facilities and maintenance team.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in a Facilities / Site Manager / hands-on property maintenance person with multi-trade skills. Practical experience in manual trades such as carpentry, general maintenance, or building works. Strong leadership and team management skills. Experience in health and safety compliance, including COSHH, risk assessments, and First Aid at Work certification. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and record-keeping. Assist company owners with other projects at times. Excellent problem-solving with a proactive approach to site improvement. Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle (some travel to other nearby sites required). A collaborative attitude with the confidence to make decisions on outsourcing vs in-house delivery.

Pay: 35,000.00-38,000.00 per year
