We have the perfect job for you in our Civic Buildings and Facilities Management department. As Facilities Supervisor, you'll lead a skilled and diverse team responsible for a wide range of functions, from contract and energy management to building surveying, leisure centre capital projects, and hands-on building operations. Based primarily at our Appletree Court offices in Lyndhurst, you'll also be able to travel across our district to oversee our varied and valued portfolio of corporate sites - the spaces that keep our services running.

You'll thrive in this role if you are:



A natural communicator who thrives on solving problems and finding smart solutions.


Experienced in using CAFM systems and turning data into dashboards and insights.


Technically savvy, with a solid grasp of building construction, compliance, and contract oversight.

What you'll be doing



Leading a team of facilities professionals across a diverse property portfolio, from offices to operational depots to leisure centres.


Overseeing how we manage our planned and reactive maintenance, compliance, and service contracts.


Driving performance, innovation, and sustainability in how we manage our buildings.


Championing health and safety, fire safety, and first aid management across our estate.


Support the creation of reports and presentations to update stakeholders on key service activities.


Collaborating closely with corporate services across the Council, including Health and Safety, ICT and HR, as well as service delivery teams including Waste Operations, Public Realm and Sustainability, and Housing.
