Job Description

As a Facilities Supervisor at our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and appearance. You will oversee daily operations of facility maintenance, coordinate repairs, and manage a team of custodial and maintenance staff. Your responsibilities will include scheduling preventative maintenance, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. You will also be responsible for monitoring budgets, maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment, and liaising with vendors and service providers to secure cost-effective solutions.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in facilities management or a similar supervisory role, with strong leadership and organizational skills. A solid understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety, is essential. You should be comfortable using facilities management software and possess excellent problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills are a must, as you will interact with staff, contractors, and senior management regularly. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in facilities management or building maintenance are highly desirable. Flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of regular hours is expected.
