Graphic PLC has been established in Crediton since 1968, with global manufacturing subsidiaries in the USA, Italy, Switzerland and China. We manufacture high performance printed circuit boards (PCB) in low to medium volumes for blue chip companies worldwide. The main markets are military, Aerospace and Telecommunications.

We are currently looking to appoint a proactive and skilled Facilities Support Technician (often called a Handyman/Handywoman) to join our team and provide essential support to our Facilities Manager. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the general upkeep, maintenance, and repair of our premises.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a similar facilities maintenance role and be able to work as part of a small team. The salary for this role is 27,518 to 35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general facilities maintenance and repairs across our site (e.g., fixing doors, repairing furniture, replacing ceiling tiles, patching walls). Handle all tasks as required by the Facilities Manager. Conduct routine checks and preventative facilities maintenance to ensure all areas are safe and functional. Assist with the setup and relocation of office equipment, furniture, and internal moves. Coordinate with external contractors for larger facilities projects. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a similar facilities maintenance, or general building upkeep role. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and with confidence. You must be motivated to find and complete tasks without constant supervision. Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical approach to maintenance issues. Strong verbal communication skills and a courteous manner when dealing with staff. Highly beneficial, but not essential: Practical experience or relevant qualifications in basic plumbing and/or basic electrics (e.g., changing light fittings, minor leaks). We can support training for the right candidate.
