Job Description

Astute's Power team is partnering with a Principal Contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Facility Support / Labourer on a project in Walsall.
Key skills

• clear the site of general debris and material in laydown areas to prepare for general construction activities.
• Install site signage under CDM regulations.
• Load and unload various site materials as required.
• Assist in installing site barriers for walkways to segregate plant and vehicle interface on site.
• Perform general tasks which could include digging, lifting, drilling and carrying materials on site.
• Using the site truck, remove any unwanted materials off site into the skip area.
• Adhere to all safety regimes and regulations whilst on site.
• Report any hazards or incidents to supervisors and by following the Site Observation Report (SOR) scheme.
• Collaborate effectively with team members such as safety team, supervision, security team.
• Must hold CSCS Card
• Telehandler licence beneficial

Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Facility Support / Labourer position

• Walsall
• 16.25 per hour (CIS)
• 6 months minimum
