Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Facilities Colleague to join our team supporting our Screwfix contract in Lichfield. As a Facilities Colleague, you will support with managing the permit to work and site inductions for all contractors visiting site as well as carrying out workplace evaluations and maintain all records!
This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday - Friday, covering the hours of 06:00am to 14:00pm and 14:00pm to 22:00pm rotating. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to 25,396.80 and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

• Assist in the management of the site services contracts including but not limited to waste management and site hygiene
• Support the ongoing maintenance of the external and internal site decor and building fabric
• Identify and repair faults effectively to support operational requirements
• Build effective working relationships with all partners and get actively involved in promoting SHE across the site
• Support with fire alarm, call point, sprinkler, truck wash, back up generator and pump house testing
• Carry out racking repairs, service and maintenance and/ or duties that require use of MHE and working at height
