It also supplies the UK private label yogurt market from a dedicated, state of the art yogurt facility.
Business Unit Maintenance Technician
Location: Market Drayton
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: 30,000 + excellent company benefits

At Muller, we're proud to be shaping the future of dairy. Our sites are the heartbeat of our business, and we're looking for a skilled Business Unit Maintenance Technician to help us maintain a safe, efficient, and compliant facility.
You'll be responsible for the upkeep of our site's buildings and services - from janitorial and electrical systems to plumbing, security and external grounds. Whether it's planned preventative maintenance or responding to urgent issues, you'll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
What you'll do:

• Carry out reactive maintenance to ensure the site operates safely and efficiently
• Complete planned maintenance tasks via our PPM/work request systems and record them in our MI system
• Ensure equipment is returned to service safely and maintained to required standards
• Identify and implement improvements to day-to-day maintenance activities
• Prevent recurring issues through thorough and effective maintenance practices
• Some travel may be required to Telford and Minsterley sites

What you'll bring:
Essential:

• Multi-skilled in plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance
• Strong technical skills in general facilities maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
• In-depth understanding of maintenance procedures and compliance standards
• Full UK driving license

Soft Skills:

• Self-direction and personal drive
• Team working and adaptability
• Integrity and effective communication

Desirable:

• Completed apprenticeship in a relevant field
