Facilities Tech ; Provide and ensure general facilities maintenance.
Major Job Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure general facilities maintenance duties are carried out to a high standard.
• Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation and procedures.
• Carry out statutory building maintenance checks and repairs
• Track and store inventory including spare parts.
• Support and enhance continuous improvement initiatives on site.
• Work across two sites in close proximity to each other

Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs)

• Latest IEE Wiring regulations
• Minimum 2 years facilities / building maintenance experience.
• Ability to identify parts and spares required to facilitate repairs
• Proven experience working under minimum direction as a part of a team and following established procedures/instructions on a regular basis.
• Solid background with basic plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance.
• Strong communication and organisational skills required.

• Good IT skills required.
• Good written and verbal communication, able to communicate and present information effectively to all levels
• Good in-depth working knowledge of Health and Safety and statutory requirements
• Developing the ability to prepare and present complex information, with some guidance from Supervision

Education & Experience

• Good general level of education,
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• B/Tec Qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent (City & Guilds / NVQ etc)
• Good general level of fitness
• Manual handling
• Accuracy / Attention to detail
• Quality
• Dependability
• Computer skills
• Self- motivated and Target driven
• Role Model behavior
• Driving licence essential
• Willing to provide occasional shift cover for staff holidays
