We are currently recruiting

Factory Butchers

to join our meat production facility. The role involves the preparation, cutting, trimming, and processing of meat products in a factory environment, while maintaining the highest standards of

food safety, quality, and hygiene

.

Key Responsibilities



Cutting, boning, trimming, and portioning meat to specification Working on production lines or at individual cutting stations Ensuring maximum yield and minimal waste Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety Following

HACCP and BRC

procedures at all times Meeting production targets while maintaining quality. Safe handling of knives and equipment Maintaining a clean and safe working area

Requirements



Previous experience as a

Factory Butcher / Skilled Meat Cutter

Good knowledge of meat cuts and specifications Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment. Willingness to work in chilled conditions. Good attention to detail and reliability

Proof of right to work in the UK will be required.


Desirable



Experience in beef, pork, lamb, or poultry processing Food Safety Level 2 qualification
