Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Factory Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a culinary setting. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff. Proficient in cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence. Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service standards. Demonstrated leadership abilities with effective communication skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
