P.H. Mountain Corrugated Ltd. seeks a Factory Manager to oversee facility operations and manage a team of production employees.
The successful candidate's responsibilities include implementing policies and monitoring output to meet production goals on time and within budget.
This role also involves hiring and training new team members and ensuring compliance with safety standards to maintain a productive work environment.
Standard working hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 however must be flexible to offer relief to shifts where needed.
Starting salary is dependent on experience and can be discussed during the interview process.

Manage and execute a comprehensive equipment maintenance program, including regular inspections and necessary repairs.
Cultivate a culture of safety by ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed and swiftly resolving any potential risks.
Lead the development of safety-training initiatives and provide resources to proactively address and mitigate potential hazards.
Maximize operational efficiency and customer value by ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality order fulfilment.
Foster a high-performance culture by regularly evaluating staff performance and identifying skill gaps to inform training strategies.
Build, develop, and lead a skilled and efficient production team, ensuring operational excellence and productivity
Work collaboratively with the operations manager to conduct process assessments, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing lean-based solutions to increase productivity and control costs.
Serve as the key coordinator between the operations manager and the production floor, ensuring seamless execution of the manufacturing plan.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by auditing production processes to develop strategic enhancements that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
accurately record absences, conduct return-to-work meetings, monitor attendance patterns, and communicate with staff and HR to ensure appropriate support.
Experience using Microsoft Excel for production planning and monitoring project timelines
Drive process improvements on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by appropriate data analysis
Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility
Ensure KPIs are met by working to the overall plan, including management of, and reporting
Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements
Work as part of the Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimise results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards requirements delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements
