The role:
We are seeking motivated individuals to support our team of fabricators in producing high quality products for a diverse range of customers. Successful candidates will perform general engineering duties in a workshop environment, such as painting, drilling, and sanding, with opportunities for skills development.
Experience Required:
Assembly Operative experience.
High attention to detail (e.g. measuring, cutting).
Metal work finishing (using grinders, etc).
Ideal Candidates will have:
Experience with hand tools, abrasive wheels, drills, etc.
Awareness of health, safety, and environmental concerns in a manufacturing setting.
A mechanical mindset, including accurate use of measuring equipment.
Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to tackle a varied and physically demanding workload.
Experience in material handling or working in a stores function (beneficial).
Competence in operating counterbalanced forklift trucks (advantageous).
Schedule:
Day shift: Monday to Thursday.
Paid overtime on Friday.
Potential evening/night shifts as required (no Sunday operations).
