Role Overview
Due to business growth, we are hiring a Warehouse and Factory Operative to join our team!
The main duties are to support with the responsibilities surrounding goods in / out for the site.
This is a very hands-on position for a multi skilled, hard working individual who could be carrying out a different task on a daily basis.

Main Role Duties
The main duties of the role are to operate the forklift truck on a daily basis to load and unload materials in the relevant areas within a timely manner, to organise and maintain the internal and external wood store areas, to coordinate with suppliers and to unload materials and assisting in frequent stock take checks to ensure materials and stock levels are as expected.
Additionally, you will also be expected to support colleagues in operating machinery and carry out housekeeping duties.
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
Unload incoming deliveries.
Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse to ensure the highest level of efficiency.
Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products.
Operate warehouse machinery, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
Keep the storage and factory areas clean, organised & a safe working environment.
Our Ideal Candidate
Desirable to have knowledge and experience of picking and packing.
Have a valid FLT licence, and completed their official training within the past 3 years.
Keen to carry out housekeeping duties within their work area.
Good communication and administration skills.
Physically fit due to the nature of the role you will carry out manual handling duties on a daily basis.
Willing to do overtime during peak manufacturing periods.
A flexible can-do attitude to work.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills.
Basic computer skills for inventory management / processing orders on internal portals and courier systems.
