Overview

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Factory Operative to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Factory Operative, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

Duties

Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures. Assemble products or components as per specifications and quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors. Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to minimise risks in the workplace. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to manufacturing processes. After training, producing products by either 'Hot Bonding','RF Welding', 'HF Welding'. Reporting any failings immediately to the factory Supervisor and factory Manager.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Basic mechanical aptitude for operating machinery effectively. Good communication skills for reporting issues and working with colleagues. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting moderate weights. Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Hours of Work : 8am-5pm

(Monday-Thursday),

8am-2:30pm

(Friday). 50 minutes for lunch/breaks 2 x 10 min, 1 x 30 min, not exceeding 50 min. Overtime as and when required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 25,480.00 per year
