About the role

Join our factory team fabricating high-quality uPVC/aluminium windows and doors in a clean, friendly, and well-organised workshop. Experience is ideal, but full training is available.

Location:

Peterborough (PE2) - on-site

Hours:

06:00-15:30, Monday to Friday (optional overtime available)

Duties

:

Operate machinery and tools to manufacture uPVC, aluminium, or timber windows and doors. Assemble frames, sashes, glass, and hardware components as per production requirements. Carry out glazing, beading, sealing, and finishing processes. Conduct quality checks at various stages of production to ensure product standards are met. Follow all health & safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE. Maintain a clean and organised work area. Support warehouse activities such as loading/unloading, packing, and stock handling as required. Identify and report defects, production issues, or machinery faults. Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines. Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment. (Preferred) Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Basic understanding of handling tools and equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work from technical drawings/specifications. Physically fit - able to lift, carry and stand for long periods.
