We are seeking to appoint two highly motivated and experienced administrative professionals to join our friendly and supportive academic administration team. These part-time roles offer an exciting opportunity to play a key part in delivering a consistently high standard of administrative and operational support across our expanding portfolio of programmes within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Education. One post will support the School of Education, and the other will support the School of Business and Law.
The successful candidates will contribute to the smooth and efficient running of our academic and professional services, helping us to maintain excellence as our provision continues to grow and evolve.
The ideal candidate will bring with them substantial experience of working in an office-based administrative environment, where they will have gained a solid track record of delivering a broad range of administrative tasks and providing high-quality support to a diverse group of stakeholders, both within the organisation and in external partnerships. We are looking for someone who possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong organisational abilities and the confidence to manage competing priorities effectively. You should be able to remain calm and professional under pressure, consistently meeting tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong IT skills are essential for this role, and applicants should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, as well as competence in navigating and maintaining work-related databases. Beyond technical skills, we value individuals who are adaptable and collaborative team players, able to contribute positively to a supportive working environment. The successful candidate will also have a proven ability to work independently, using initiative and sound judgment to resolve day-to-day challenges and ensure the smooth running of administrative processes.
