About the Role:
To further our support for student success and retention, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to join our Student Advice team in Cambridge. The Student Advice service focuses on delivering expert knowledge, support and advice to students and staff with a focus on our Academic Regulations. We're looking for an empathetic and skilled communicator who can absorb complex information and then advise students in a clear and sympathetic manner. You'll liaise with other University teams to deliver excellent student support, including colleagues in our Faculties and across Student and Library Services.
You will be educated to degree level with an appropriate level of experience, or be part qualified in a relevant professional qualification. You'll have excellent interpersonal skills having worked previously in an advice setting. You'll also have experience of working with information management systems and the ability to plan and progress work activities. Through working in the team you'll make a real difference to student retention, achievement and employability.
This is a fixed term post for 1 year.
