Established in 1986, Barton Safety Services is a leading provider of engineering services to the wind energy and construction sectors in the United Kingdom and Ireland.

We are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our fall protection systems and safety solutions team.

The operative will be required to install, test, repair, inspect and recertify roof safety systems, ladders, guardrails, walkways, eyebolts and PPE. Works are across the island of Ireland and the UK, the successful candidate will be required to travel and stay away from home, there will be renumeration for this in the form of overnight payments and food allowances.

Duties

Extensive proven experience in site installation, testing and inspection. Ability to work at height and on roofs in all weather conditions Proven ability to read and interpret drawings Working knowledge and compliance with health and safety standards Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and to write accurate and detailed installation, testing and inspection reports Ability to think critically, to solve problems and to demonstrate effective organizational skills. A flexible approach to working Developed communication and customer service skills Ability to travel as required throughout Ireland and to work away from home and additional hours as necessary Ability to work solo or as part of a team A current full UK driving licence A valid CSR card or equivalent; safe working at height qualifications and man riding platform training. Salary competitive depending on experience
