HOURS: This position is Full Time, based on 5 days out of 7 including weekends - Weekends would be the busiest time for our family events.

Job Summary:



Are you passionate about creating memorable family experiences? Roe Valley Resort is looking for an enthusiastic Family Fun Coordinator to manage and promote bookings for our exciting new range of family friendly activities.




This role is primarily responsible for planning, promoting, and delivering fun and engaging activities for families staying at Roe Valley Resort. As the resort expands its family-friendly offerings, you will be the key driver in ensuring families have an unforgettable experience. During quieter periods, you will also support the Reservations team with booking inquiries and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:



Proactively contact families with existing room bookings to promote and secure advance reservations for the resort's children's activities. Provide detailed information about activity options, schedules, pricing, and availability. Confirm bookings, handle amendments or cancellations, and ensure all activity reservations are accurately recorded in the system. Act as the main point of contact for parents during their stay regarding the children's program. Gather feedback from guests to help refine and improve the activities experience. Working within office guidelines Dealing with client queries - by phone and online.

Reservations Support (as required):





Assist the Reservations team with handling incoming bookings by phone, email, or online channels when needed. Help process amendments, cancellations, and special requests. Promote resort facilities and upsell relevant services during guest interactions. Provide general administrative support to the Reservations team during quieter activity periods.

Requirements:





Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or sales -- experience in family resorts or working with children is an advantage. Confident communicator with excellent telephone and written skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A proactive, sales-minded approach with confidence in promoting activities to guests. Ability to multitask and manage bookings accurately. Friendly, approachable, and professional manner with guests of all ages.
